I know some of you are looking at this section and thinking "Woah. That's a lot of text.". I know because I agree, but, this is an important read. The Neurovercy isn't just any community and this is our origin story.

The Story of Neurovercy

Hi, I’m Nasya, the founder of Neurovercy.

Neurovercy didn't start in a boardroom; it started with a breaking point!

After years of being completely fed up with the weight of my neurodivergence and chronic illnesses, I went to TikTok and did the only thing I knew how to do: I ranted. I ranted about the system, the exhaustion, and the struggle. What I didn’t expect was for hundreds of thousands of people to look at my life, relate, and resonate.

After combing through thousands of comments and hearing the same stories of isolation over and over, I realized we needed a space where we could finally just be together. I teased the idea online, but then I got scared and didn't do it for three months. Then one day, I just knew it had to be done.

I started alone, but soon a good friend—and now my co-owner, Maz—reached out and showed interest. Since then, we’ve grown into a dedicated team of six. Today, Neurovercy is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) built to turn those initial rants into an eternally accepting, radical sanctuary.

What We Do Now:

The Lock In & Body Doubling: High-energy, focused sessions for those who need a parallel presence to get things done.
Radical Support Spaces: Dedicated areas for venting, ranting, and deep discussions on chronic illness—ensuring everyone has access to the support they need.
Community Rituals: Routine-friendly spaces like our Saturday Movie Nights at 7:30 p.m. and our specialized Book Clubs including The Housemaid, and ACOTAR.
Creative Expression: Dedicated spaces for our Crochet and Create Club, alongside community colouring sessions to help us decompress and connect.
Structural Advocacy: Utilizing our CIC status to manage consultancy, education, and social work activities that prioritize neuro-inclusion at a systemic level.

The Neurovercy is powered by a team of six who turn the initial vision into an eternally accepting reality. We believe in radical accessibility and safety, which is why some of us lead the charge publicly, while others choose to protect their digital privacy while remaining fully active within our community.

The Public Faces:

Nasya | Founder & CEO: The voice behind the rants that started it all. Nasya leads the vision for the CIC and ensures the community stays true to its mission of radical accommodation.
Joey | Media Manager: The creative force behind our digital presence. Joey manages our social media platforms and handles most of the media creation, ensuring our message reaches those who need it most.
Mikey | Head Moderator: Mikey is the guardian of our peace. As Head Moderator, he ensures the server remains a safe, respectful, and secure space for every member of the community.

Maz | Co-Owner: As co-owner, Maz runs the online server and manages the intricate technical systems that keep the Neurovercy ecosystem functioning smoothly every day.
Ibuki | Server Manager: Working behind the scenes to maintain the technical health of our digital home and the development of it's future.
Myah | Community Liaison: Our bridge between the team and the members, ensuring every voice is heard and supported.

To protect their online privacy, Ibuki and Myah choose to remain anonymous in the digital world. You will meet them through their custom avatars online and in person at our live events, where they are essential pillars of our team.
