FAQ

Your Questions Answered

At Neurovercy, we understand that you may have questions. This FAQ section provides insights into our mission, community activities, and how to get involved with our supportive neurodivergent community.

How do I actually join the community?

Right now, our main hub is on Discord. You can jump in through the invite link here, where you'll be greeted by our team.

Once you’re in, you can explore the different spaces, join a gaming club, or hop into a Lock In session whenever you're ready.

Can I join if I’m undiagnosed or self-diagnosed?

Absolutely. We believe that lived experience and self diagnosis are valid. Whether you have a formal piece of paper, are currently self-diagnosed, or are just starting to figure your brain out, you are welcome here.

We don't gatekeep support.

What Programs Do You Offer?

We don't do "stale" programs. Instead, we offer community-led services like body doubling, goal-tracking, and interest-based clubs. On the heavier side, we provide radical support spaces for chronic illness and direct advocacy to help you navigate disability rights and life skills. If you have something specific you need to discuss that isn't mentioned here, you can book a direct call with Nasya to see how we can help.

How can I support the Neurovercy?

You can become a part of Neurovercy by joining our Discord server, where we organize interest-based groups. Simply follow the link provided on our website to create an account and connect with others.

Do I have to be active or talk in voice chats to stay in the community?

Not at all. We know that energy levels fluctuate and social battery is real. You’re welcome to lurk, read along, or just use the resource channels without ever saying a word. There is no pressure to be on or participate in voice calls unless you genuinely want to.

What type of in-person events do you do?

We host various random events each month, ranging from low-sensory meetups to more active social gatherings. Because we’re still new to this, we’re testing different things to see what works best for us as a community. Our goal is to keep things varied so we can engage with as many different types of neurodivergence as possible.

If you have something you'd like to do as a group, we have an events registry here
