Welcome to neurovercy.co.uk. These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you, the visitor or member, and Neurovercy CIC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website and engaging with our community services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.

1. Who Can Use This Website:

This website and the associated Neurovercy community are designed for neurodivergent and disabled individuals and their allies. To use our website or join our community hub, you must be at least 16 years of age (in accordance with Discord’s safety requirements). By using this site, you warrant that you possess the legal authority to create a binding legal obligation.

2. Nature of Services and Offerings:

Neurovercy CIC provides a community sanctuary including, but not limited to, interest-based groups, body doubling sessions (The Lock In), and advocacy support. We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any part of our offerings—including event schedules, club availability, or support services—at any time without prior notice.

3. Community Conduct & The "Sanctuary Rule":

To protect the safety of our members, we enforce strict conduct boundaries. By joining our spaces, you agree:

No Gatekeeping: We hold a zero-tolerance policy for harassment regarding diagnosis status. Self-diagnosed members are equal members of this community.
Confidentiality: You are strictly prohibited from recording, screenshotting, or sharing private discussions or personal "rants" outside of the community.
Respect: No hate speech, bullying, or discriminatory behaviour.

4. Right to Suspend or Cancel Membership:

We reserve the right to permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend your access to the community hub and website services without notice and liability, for any reason—specifically if, in our sole determination, you violate any provision of these T&C or any applicable law or community guideline.

5. Intellectual Property:

The Service and all materials therein, including software, images, text, logos, patents, trademarks, copyrights, and "Neurovercy" branding, are the exclusive property of Neurovercy CIC. You agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, or reproduce any of our proprietary materials without express written consent from Nasya or the CIC board.

6. Limitation of Liability & Warranties:

Neurovercy CIC provides this site and its community services on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Not Advice: Information shared regarding disability benefits, legal rights, or life skills is based on lived experience and community research. It does not constitute professional medical, psychiatric, or legal advice.
Third Parties: We are not responsible for the conduct of individual members within the community or for content on third-party sites we may link to.

7. Indemnification:

You agree to indemnify and hold Neurovercy CIC harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) made against them by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website or any of the services offered on the website.

8. Governing Law:

These T&C, the rights and remedies provided hereunder, and any and all claims and disputes related hereto and/or to the services, shall be governed by, construed under, and enforced in all respects solely and exclusively in accordance with the internal substantive laws of the United Kingdom.
