Community Initiatives

Clubs and Groups
Interest-Based Connections
Inside the Neurovercy, we’ve built a world that actually works for us. It starts with our interest-based groups clubs; specialized spots like our gaming clubs, our Crochet and Create sessions, and book clubs for The Housemaid, You’ve Reached Sam, and ACOTAR.
These aren’t just hobbies; they’re places to find real camaraderie through structured activities and deep-dive discussions where we can kill the isolation of being "different" and build genuine friendships without the exhausting pressure of masking. We lean into things like goal-tracking and accountability to turn shared passions into actual progress, finding our "tribe" in a way that feels safe, low-stakes, and full of the natural dopamine we usually have to fight for.
The Events
Conducive Interaction
We keep the rhythm of the community going through events that actually respect how our brains work. This includes our Lock In and body doubling sessions for when executive dysfunction hits hard and you just need a parallel presence to finally get things done without the shame or judgement.
We also hold regular Saturday movie nights to provide a consistent, predictable social outlet you can actually rely on, and our monthly in-person events are where the digital sanctuary transitions into the real world. To keep things clear and accessible, we release a full weekly timetable every Sunday. This schedule maps out exactly what’s happening in the week ahead, providing the external structure we often crave but struggle to create for ourselves.
This structure presents productivity and connection without the burnout.

Advocacy & Support
Our approach:
Hanging out is great, but it doesn't fix the fact that the world is built against us. We’ve carved out real, layered spaces for the heavy stuff—places to rant about chronic illness or just vent when everything feels like too much. We don't just dump everything into one room; we have different spaces for different levels of "heavy," so you can choose where to go based on how bad the day is.
You can lean on the community for a shared vent, or come to the team when you need actual, direct guidance.

Beyond the discord, we use our CIC status to do the heavy lifting. We’re here to help you navigate disability support, get your legal rights sorted, and learn the life skills you need to actually survive. We aren't just a social club; we’re a bridge to systemic change.
